Matthew M. Heuser

Died: October 2006

You will be missed. A great friend is hard to loose.

Matt was a Dedicated Search and Rescue provider.

He Loved to Cave & Reptiles (Snakes & Bearded Dragons).

Matthew Martin Heuser

Heuser, Matthew Martin age 41, suddenly, beloved son of the late Matthew and Margaret (nee VanThiel), loving brother of Jessica (Marlon) Zmuda and Tammy, fond uncle of Todd (Fiancée, Chris Foss) Coughlin. Matt loved to raise bearded dragons and was the proud owner of pet dragons Drago and Puff. Relatives and friends are asked to gather Wednesday, October 25th, 5 to 10 p.m., at Michelle's Ballroom, 2800 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Interment private. Arrangements by: Avalon Cremation Care.

Jim Hardy

Born: 19 August 1960

Died: 7 January 2006

Jim was a Mentor, Teacher, and Friend to many of us.

Jim was Dedicated to Search & Rescue starting as a young man in California, then in Illinois & Indiana.

He worked with the Civil Air Patrol, Illinois Search and Rescue (ISAR), & several other SAR Organizations. 

Jim was a NASAR SARTECH II & Evaluator, He taught & Mentored may of us for years.

Jim was also a Ham Radio Operator (KB9ROP).

He was a skilled and avid outdoorsman.


James Ray Hardy

Aug. 19, 1960 - Jan. 7, 2006

James Ray Hardy, 45

of Greencastle, Indiana, died Saturday (01-07-06).

Born in Pana, Ill., he was the son of Jerry L. and Donna Ray (Norton) Hardy.

A graduate of Northrup University in Inglewood, Calif., he had resided in Putnam County for eight years and was employed by Indiana Paging Network as an electronics technician. He was of the Catholic faith and was Cub Master for Pack 99.

He married Lillian L. Boess on Aug. 12, 1989. She survives.

Also surviving are son Raymond Lee Hardy, his father, and brother, Thomas Hardy, Bishop, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday (01-09-06) at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday (01-10-06) at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
