Hi, my name is Ted, I'm 43 years Old. This is my 13 year old daughter, Alexandra. She is very Intelligent &
the prettiest young lady in the world.

We were expecting our newest Daughter in Mid February 2005, She arrived early, She was born 3 Months
Premature. Alicia was born in November 2004 at 1LB\5OZ. Alicia became our Guardian Angel when Passed away
on May 18th. 2005. We all miss her very much.

I am a disabled Career [Full Time] Firefighter \ Paramedic (Lieutenant) from the Fosterburg Fire Protection
District in Madison County, Illinois.

I'm the Webmaster\owner of www.search-rescue.net , Search & Rescue is my Hobby\Passion in life
& want to help educate not only myself & other SAR providers, but also the general public.
Remember, "SEARCH is an EMERGENCY!"

N9WDS is my Amateur (Ham) Radio call sign - I am active in SkyWarn Severe Storm Spotting.

I love caving & Cave Rescue. I'm a member of the National Speleological Society (NSS)
& was trained by the National Cave Rescue Commission (NCRC)

I'm a Retired Life Member of AVEC Search & Rescue in Alton, Illinois.

I hold the grade of Lt Col. in the Civil Air Patrol - United States Air Force Auxiliary (CAP).
I am very active in CAP Emergency Services. I am also very proud to be a "Blue Beret" (CAP\SSC).

I am the Group 1 Emergency Services Officer, with additional duty as Assistant Illinois Wing
Emergency Services Officer.

The 6 Squadrons in Group 1 are: 286th. Composite Squadron (GLR-IL-286), Scott Composite Squadron (IL-205),
& Civic Memorial Senior Squadron (IL-122), Franklin County Composite Squadron, Williamson County Composite
Squadron, Metropolis Composite Squadron.
I also was a former Squadron Commander of the 286th. Composite Squadron.

I graduated from the National Search and Rescue School Inland Planning Course instructed by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center (AFRCC) and the USAF AFRCC Search Management Course (SMC)

I'm an Instructor for the Indiana Department of Homeland (IDHS) Security, Search and Rescue Academy
at Camp Attabury, IN. and the Illinois Search and Rescue Council (ISARC).

I am a member of the National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR).
I'm a Certified NASAR SAR Tech II & SAR Tech Evaluator Apprentice.

When I was younger, I worked full time as a EMT & Paramedic for several Ambulance Company's
& I also was a Volunteer Firefighter [Lieutenant-Paramedic] with the Long Lake FD in Pontoon Beach, Illinois.

I'm a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie # 254 - Alton, Illinois.

I enjoy Search and Rescue, Rappelling, Caving, Computers, Photography, and most of all my Daughter.
